I'm not so sure that you even need the axe, saw, and tree. Maybe a clean font with some shadow effects overlaying the growth rings is all you need. Clean and simple tend to work best.

The axe, saw, and tree are a bit cluttery. I'm also considering replacing that section with a lumberjack.

I love the name and theme,being in the industry,but the axe and misery whip look way better than "Paul Bunyan"in my opinion.BTW,welcome back to the NW.

I'm undecided on which way to go as well. Either the logger or the equipent/trees. Need to just make up my mind and commit to something.

The logger is kinda gay.

Maybe just an ax head in the center would be cool. Here's a tutorial on how to make one in Gimp or Photoshop:

The "idea" of the logger is cool but he is holding that queer little axe and it makes him look super homorific gay, sorry i liked the one with the axe and saw.
