Default split mash

If your regular mash ton just isn't big enough for the load, do you ever make a separate mash in a different container? I have a ten gallon igloo and was thinking about doing part of the mash as a BIAB.

Yep, I know our LHBC has done group brews using separate mash tuns/boils and then just combined the wort at the end as long as the gravity readings checked out. I think the last one they did was in January for an old ale project aged in a full oak whiskey barrel.
