Default Mold

Have a pale ale in a carboy for 6 weeks in basement beer has a mold on top of it is it still good?

Post a picture if you can. Most of us can tell you if your issue is mold real fast by looking at a pic. 95% or greater of the time when I look at posts like this it is a new brewer in panic mode and their issue will turn out to be just harmless yeast rafts.
