Just bought mine, Lost the instructions... How do I.... What do I do with it... WTF?! Is this thing beneficial? And how important is it to test and treat my water?

Add few drops of wort to refractometer, wait few moment for sample to cool and read gravity.
If your water is good for drink you don't have to bother with it until you manage whole process.
We are only 10,000 years into beer... there are thousands of years left to go!

If you still can't figure out how to use it, ship it to me and I will find a use for it.

Wish i had the disposable income to buy things for brewing that I didn't entirely know how to use.
