If you had just bottled instead of kegging you could have counted the bottles left and known when to brew the next to keep the pipeline full.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I have some bottles but it will be a while before anything I brew this weekend will be ready to drink.

To top it off I'm going to see Les Miserable with the wife.

This is what happens to me a lot.....i tap a keg and have a couple of beers. Thinking I should still have plenty the following week I pour a beer and its gone!!!!!! What the @#$#!!!!! Oh yeah.....the kids were home from school on the weekend.

I'm glad though because the kids and their friends like the beer.....and i get to keep on brewing.

I feel for you though.....it sucks to run out of beer

Normally I'm looking to give some away as it takes me a long time to drink my beer. But this was supposed to get me through the winter until it's warm enough outside to brew. I figure another month and I can stand out in the garage again.

Worst part is I had a very warm day not long ago and I SHOULD have brewed, but instead worked on our house.

Oh well, at least the wife says I should go buy some commercial beer to get me by. Wonder if Adam over at Crankers will fill a corney...

Oh, and the wife agreed that Les Miserables was not all that good. Bit my tongue so hard I bled.

Jim Crank, the owner says I can have a corny filled for $5 over wholesale! Now to decide whether to buy a keg of Crankers beer and have 1 flavor, or buy sampler packs of Arcadia or some other regional craft beer and spend more but have variety.

Kind of like having the ability to pour a half-glass like if it's getting close to bedtime, or if I just want to wash down dinner with a few swallows and might be driving somewhere...

I'll probably buy a keg AND some sampler beer...
