Default Zythos Ale (Zythos Hop Blend APA) - All Grain

IBU: 43.4
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 6.3
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14
Secondary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 8
Tasting Notes: Great aroma and a well balanced hop character of floral and citrus.

Farmhouse had a sale on hops and I picked up 4oz of Zythos for under $4 and threw this together with what was in the pantry. After two weeks in the bottle its still a bit green but quite drinkinable even now. Thought I would share for anyone considering this hop blend.

I would brew this again for sure very drinkable at two weeks, it might be a while because my brewing resolution this year is to explore pale ales so a lot of pale ales are planned first. I can't wait to see what it does with another couple weeks of aging. All around I think the hops give you a better complexity of aromas than you would get of a sing or double hop dry hop. I will be searching for a competition to send this off too and get a little more formal feedback.
