What is this? I know its some kind of adhesive (obviously thin and white), but does it have a brand name?
I keep hearing about guys using milk to put labels on...??

+1, I'm a few months into brewing and unfamiliar with milk labeling too.

+1 for this, I just use a small brush and 'paint' the back of the label (which is just printer paper) Couldn't be easier!

I use self-adhesive labels, but there are so very many posts about how milk does, in fact, work.
