FG: 1.017
SRM: 8
IBU: 22
ABV: 6.5

Fermentables:
6lb American Two-Row Pale

.125lb Belgian Special B
1lb Honey @ Flameout

Mash two-row, MO/Pils and rolled oats at 153 for 60 minutes. Add Honey Malt, Crystal 10 and Special B just prior to vorlauf.

Hops:
.5oz Willamette @60min
1oz Willamette @30min
.5oz Willamette @5min

Yeast:
American Ale Yeast

Fermentation Schedule:
Ferment @ RT for 21 days (rack to secondary on day 10 if you please)
After 3 weeks or target FG, bottle or keg.

What do you guys think? I know it's a bit "heavy" for a blonde ale, but that's why it's called the BBW.

Edit: I should mention that I'm on the fence about the special B. I love the flavors that it gives, and I think that it could add a lot of complexity even with such a small amount. I'm just wondering if it might deter from the flavors of the honey + honey malt.

Love the name!

I think it looks interesting. I'd go with the Pils rather than the MO, but would also consider all two-row. I'd drop the oats and if you think you need more proteins, I'd replace it with a lb of wheat malt. I think the honey along with the yeast choice will nicely dry out the beer.

Good luck with this batch!
