Default Perlick Faucets-Chrome or SS

So, I'd like to get a couple of Perlick's. The price difference is somewhat significant. Outside of bling.. why should I buy a SS vs a PC? I'm thinking there should be no problem with the chrome plating as I'm not a commercial beer pumper.

Thanks for suggestions..

Cheers, Bill

I got SS myself. The way I saw it, I was investing in Perlicks, might as well make it a lifetime investment.

On tap:
1. 100% Michigan IPL 2. Citrus Wheat 3. Czech Pils 4. Porter 5.[Nitrogen] ESB
1. IPL 2. IPL 3. Ger Pils 4. Ger Pils 5. none 6. none
1. Brett Ale 2. Lambic 3. Lambic 4. none 5. none
About 18 gallons of beer & 3 gallons of mead
Kegged & conditioning:
Bock x2, IPA, Pale Ale x2, Porter

I would/did opt for the stainless. Stainless is forever and can be sterilized.

I have the chrome version. I haven't had any issues. The best upgrade I made was going to perlicks from the rear seal faucets.

I went with stainless. The price difference isn't all that much and since I plan on having them forever the nominal difference wasn't enough for me to go with the chrome ones.
