I bought a 6', 50A range cord from amazon for $30. Hardwired it to my control panel... works like a charm. I just couldn't see why I would want to spend an extra ~$70 on a plug and outlet.


Primary: Liberal Wheat 5.14
Secondary: Air
Bottle Conditioning: Gingerbread Stout 12.13
Kegged: IPA 3.14, Gluten Free Dos-Equis Clone 1.14
Commercial Tap: Legend Brown Ale
In Bottles: Hopslam, eSCB Holiday Ale 8.13

On Deck: Bourbon Cru 6.14

Well...I had to go the 70$ route because 6 ft doesnt even come close to giving me enough cord length. I didn't hardwire because I have a 50 amp cord with a 30a receptacle. This was done for future upgrade purpose, and I can use my outlet for other things when not in use by my brewery.
