I made two separate beers on Sunday. The first was a 5 gallon better beers kit. It is in a 6.5 gallon glass carboy and bubbling every 4-6 seconds.
I also made a 2 gallon mrb kit and have it fermenting in a 6.5 gallon bucket. I are bubbles every 20 seconds or so. Is the difference in bubble rates due to the size difference of the batches?

The difference in bubbles could be due to a better seal on one vessel, wort temperature, what the yeast ate for dinner or leprechauns, very gassy leprechauns at that.

Seriously, the bubbles only mean some sort of gas is being released, probably from fermentation in this case, but can happen for other reasons, and the reason for the difference in the rate of one versus the other is difficult to pin down and almost meaningless.
