Contemplating changing up what I did for my first brew to see what it would be like and I wanted to make something with a smokey flavor to it (as it would be ready in time for our first BBQ Competition of the season.

Can someone more experienced than I take a look and let me know what you think?

Briess Smoked Malt - 2 lbs, 0 oz - Steep at ~158 for 20-25 minutes
Briess Sparkling Amber Liquid Extract - 6 lbs, 0 oz boil for 60min
Perle, GR Pellets - 1 oz @ 60 mins
Centennial Pellets - 1 oz @ 10 mins
Centennial Pellets - 1 oz @ 0 mins (flameout)
Fuggles Pellets, UK - 1 oz @ Dry (4 days before bottle)
SAFALE US-05 American Ale - 1 ea

Ferment for 21 days at ~65
Bottle Condition for 2 weeks

Looks good to me, although I'm not experienced in smoked malts, the rest of the recipe looks pretty good. Except for the Fuggles for dry hop. I'd personally do an American Hop for dry, but you might hit on something delicious when paired with the smoke malt.

Thanks! At this point, I'm not sure what flavors or aromas the hops attribute, current brew in the primary has 4 different caramel malts in place of the smoked ones, and a centennial for the dry hop.

Thought I would change it up and Fuggle sounds fun. :-)
