Shouldda left those beers go for a year or two that you dumped! lol.
Now I know... I like to ask questions here too before going out into the general public. But never know what kind of answers you'll get, especially when it's late and no one can find their clothes. Could someone please refill the hot tub? Maybe this time we can fill it with beer, then we can drink truly funky warm beer until we pass out and a moderator has to come around and drain it again to keep us from drowning. Ahh... this is the life....

Not sure if they are wasps or bees. But they swarm me when I brew outside and get into my beer. Don't know how many of these suckers I've had to pluck from my beer.

Heck ya! Mostly bitters and some milds, but there were some interesting gems in the pile, including a couple porters, a treacle stout (prob my favorite), and a couple American Pale Ales. the "wildest" was probably a UK mild with cherries and chocolate. It was, uhmn, "interesting". The Camra folks were awesome, very friendly and chatty. I was impressed at how intrigued they are with the beer revolution that's been happening in the US.

You can see the pictures here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Boston...081975?fref=ts and some pics from the Friday (when I attended) http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1081975&type=1 (I'm in the teal/turquoise jacket).

Interestingly enough, they serve in half (10oz) or full pints (20oz) only. Yowza.

Looks like a bee ... maybe you should pour a plate of honey and leave it on the other side of the house. Might draw them away from your wort.

Still going to the show today?

I've not heard the term "meat bee" but that thing sure is a yellow jacket wasp. Angry little fellas.

Oh heck I do the same with my hops while still sober. Lay them out with a piece of paper telling me when to add them.

I started marking my starsan water as well. I buy distilled water for my humidor and have mixed them up in the past. Now it is marked rather clearly which is which

Man I blew my back out a couple of days ago. Stupid pain pills are like drinking a 6 pack

Hoping it gets better soon so I can brew. Not because I need the beer but dang I am getting bored right out of my head.

No, came down with a sore throat and lost my voice. Barely was able to call friends and let them know, now they aren't even going to stop by here to see me. In case I'm contagious. I'm sure I sounded terrible on the phone. At first they thought I was a prank caller.
