So i have a large open area that I plan to frame in for a beer room. I have storage for bottles with some cool found shelfing. Does anyone else have ideas for this room? 'm thinking I'm going to ventilae to the outside with it to avoid the "yeast smell" in the house.

While you are ventilating you might as well make the vent do something more than just getting rid of that Yeasty smell...

If I was going to start from scratch I'd check out some used commercial kitchen equipment. Two or three compartment sink would be nice, stainless steel tables, steel wire shelves, stock pot range, range hood, nice walk in cooler, tiled walls and floor. Yowza.
