Over the holidays I noticed a local market was selling apple cider in large cappable bottles. Here is what they look like http://freshneasybuzz.blogspot.com/2...-rules-at.html
The bottles seem heavier duty than standard bottles. I was wondering if I could use them for my Belgian beer...do you think they could take the pressure of bottle conditioning? Also would a standard crown cap be able to hold the pressure? The cider is pretty well carbonated. Just looking for an alternative to the cork and cap technique.
