I always have 10 - 5 gallon containers going at a time. When one is bottled, another is started. I have a book of recipes to weed out the sucky combinations and a crap-load of sticky notes stuck EVERYWHERE between the pages. In the winter, I am relegated to store bought juice, and dried produce, such as elderberries and hibiscus. I so long for the summertime and all the freshness that comes with it.

I have 336 bottles on 2 wine racks now. 30 gallons still in carboys and I have been making wine a little over a year now.

Good stuff. Got 3 pails brewing. Starting to get nervous. I am finding myself going down to the cellar before bed to check on my "kids", tuck them in and say good night. The waiting part is killing me which is making me order more kits to keep myself busy.

Come on guys, I want to hear from others too about what you are doing per year.

John

Keep in mind that the motto with wine should be "Quality not quantity".
Be patient take your time to make good wine not just crap that would fuel a car.

100% agree. But I have modified that saying. Quality with Quantity.

Ya know, you could get a few bottles of welches (or off brand) white grape juice and some champagne yeast @ .79 on Ebay, and start a non kit wine to try. That is where the addiction takes hold. Mixing and matching flavors and yeasts and it is awesome, and probably a lot cheaper than the kits.
