Like your idea, Huaco, but the compression nut (furrel)clamps onto the tube so it wont slide, the tube pretty much can't come off the compression fitting once tightened.

Oh... I assumed you used the 2 silicone o-rings method. Once you clamp that furrel down, that's all she wrote!

Standard stone with barb end from, morebeer, just tapped it into an old dip tube and silver soldered it. Probably don't even neet to solder, it was tight.

No, just the 5/16" brass furrel, Ill try to take a picture for ya.

The foaming subsides if it does happen. I've had nearly this same setup as you and it works fine.

Very cool setup. I am cheap and simple minded. I use the oxygen from my Oxy/Acetelyn rig and pump it thru an airstone AFTER my wort is in my fermenter. I have been using air stones from these folks for years in my catfish pond. YMMV
