Anyone know of a vendor or someone who builds prewired controllers for a RIMs tube? (other than Sabco).

I want to add a RIMs tube to my set up. I can build the tube itself, but wiring is a new animal for me...don't want to get in over my head.

If you just want a single PID to control a RIMS tube and nothing else, this is the cheapest option I know of:
http://www.highgravitybrew.com/produ...l-158p3986.htm

Just be aware that it uses a mechanical relay rather than an SSR (see this thread).

If you're in the market for something more elaborate, places that sell more complete control panels are The Electric Brewery, Brewmation, Brewmaster Controls, and Swede’s Custom Control Systems.

Good question.

They don't post a schematic or a picture of the internals. But here's the post where the guy from High Gravity says it has no SSR.

what about this?
http://www.auberins.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=161

you should be able to run a smaller heater element off of it, 1200w or so if my math is correct? and it's $300 cheaper.
