Default how long to force carb using carbonater cap?

Mix soda, fill 2L bottle, put on carb cap, squeeze out air, chill, force carb at ~35 psi....

My question is, how long?

I just shake the sucker a couple times for 30 seconds or so and I'm usually good to go!
