Need help, building a brew stand and I have 3 burners a b-14 and two b-10 banjo burners with the original 30 psi regulator I got with my B-14 burner. Plummed with iron pipe and neddle values. The problem is all three burners will run and just shut off all of the sudden. I can't find any leaks, do i need a different regulator?

If you have all three burners running at high output and suddenly they all shut off, I would suspect the high flow rate had tripped the safety valve on the tank. Not sure what to do about that, though...

Cheers!

Are you able to relight the burners right away?

You say you can shut everything down and start again, does that include the valve on the tank itself? If so, you're tripping the high flow safety valve.

There is no flow limiting check valve in an opd valve. http://www.propane101.com/opdcylindervalves.htm
Its either your locking up the regulator, at full burn your pulling some where around 600 kbtu i dont see any max btu available on the bayou website for their 30 psi regs..

Or... I believe your btu demand is exceding the vaporization rate of your tank and freezing up the propane. http://www.flameengineering.com/Propane_Info.html

By the time your getting everything shut off then relit your tank has had a chance to warm back up a bit and build up enough pressure for you to fire back up..

If your reg has a qcc fitting on it to connect to the tank (probably green female connector) they do have a flow limiter.. i would go to a standard POL connector (brass, left handed male threads)

another possibility.... your btu demand is exceding the vaporization rate of your tank and freezing up the propane.

The opd valves are well known for tripping at high flow. Happens to me all the time with a heater I use in my garage.
You may need to split the burners and add a second propane tank.
