That's true of most Kolsch yeasts, but WLP029 is recommended for use at typical ale temperatures. White Labs warns that it may go dormant if you let it get down below about 62F.

If you fine the beer before you bottle you might need to add some yeast for it to bottle condition. What I normally do is cold crash and fine with gelatin. That will get your beer perfectly bright. Then add your priming sugar as normal and about 1/2 a packet of US-05 that has been rehydrated. US-05 will not add any flavors at that point and will drop bright quickly.
