I'm designing a 3-tier brewstand and am planning to use the Bayou Classic 10" High Pressure Cast Iron Banjo Burners (unless someone says not to) for all three locations.
Does anyone have...
- Suggestions on the distance between the top of the burner and the bottom of the brew pots. Should I make the distance "adjustable"?
- Recommendations on "wind shields"... How close to the burner (i.e. diameter)? How close to the bottom of the brew pot? How tall? I want to make sure that the burner isn't starved of air/oxygen
- Google Sketchup 3D models of the burners
