I'm going to be in Cypress CA next week on business. Since I'll have some free time I want to make sure I hit up a couple local joints. What's good down on the south side of LA that I can't get up here in Wisconsin?

I have heard good things about Beechwood Brewing in Long Beach and Seal Beach. There is also The Bruery down in Orange.
Check out my nanobrewery!!/pages/Two...02323289804018

Ladyface in Agoura Hills. It's on the North side but awesome food and beer. One of my favorite brewpubs in the country. All their servers are Cicerone certified. I stay at the Candlewood Suites and walk over.
Next: ?

If you're going to be in Cypress, I'd concentrate on the OC breweries and not LA.

Here's a good list of them:
Surf City Brewing (TM)

Solid advice. OC is full of great breweries. For whatever reason LA doesn't have very many at all compared to OC and San Diego County.
