Default Star San Smell?

I was doing some sanitizing today and noticed a smell out of the bottle of Star San. I have never noticed this smell before, itīs kind of chemical/medicinal. Is it normal for starsan to smell?

I hope it's normal because that's how mine has always smelled.

I've never stuck my nose in there, and have never noticed any odor at all.

As a mechanic by trade, I have always likened fresh Starsan to battery acid. Not directly a smell, but a burn in the nostrils. As Starsan is an acid, I believe this to be a good sign.
