Umm, did u say you brew inside on an electric stove?...8-9 gallons pre boil?

Spend some cha-ching on a burner brother.

I agree, you realy need a propane burner and tank to get a decent boil, even on 5 gallons.

I would also recommend an immersion or plate chiller to cool the wort after the boil.

Yeah, wish I could get a burner. I'm on the fifth floor of my condo building, so no propane tanks per city ordinance...

Maybe find a buddy that will let you brew at his pad? I would never say something can't be done, especially since it sounds like you've done it already, but it must be tough.

Electrify your kettle or build a heat stick to use in combination w the stove.

One problem I came across when trying to heat my 10 gallon pot on the electric stove. The pot is so big that it trapped the heat under the pot and actually warped the top of the stove from the weight, ruined the drip pans and started melting the insulation on the power wiring. Now this was a coil burner type stove, so i'm not sure what would happen with an induction type.

Just be carefull and constantly watch your first batch.

You might want to look through the electric brewery section for ideas.
