Ok after reading some of Brewtopia threads and using oak, got me thinking, maybe it would be a good addition to the barley wine I have going. What is yalls thoughts on using this in a barley wine. I was thinking like 4 oz. of French oak medium toast. What kind of time line should I fallow to keep the beer on them. I plan on aging the beer for at least a few more months before bottling. maybe soak them in some makers mark before putting them in there not too sure. Lets hear some opinions.
