Default Recipe input

I am wanting to brew a Coffee stout, I have worked up a recipe that sounds pretty good to me. Dark Coffee Stout I am wanting to impart some vanilla flavor, what would be the best way to do this. Thanks for any input!

I am looking into brewing a Java Vanilla Porter for my wife, and came across this thread on HBT: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f12/detr...porter-139624/

The one reply suggests to add a vanilla bean to the secondary, then get ready to bottle when the flavor has enough vanilla for your liking.
