I use an O2 tank with a regulator and a diffuse wand (from Willams Brewing) to aerate my wort. This gives much better results than just shaking/stirring your fermentor. I paid $80 for the tank and regulator. You found this at a great price.

The 7lb co2 cylinders Beverage Elements sells are re-certified medical o2 tanks with the 540 valve installed (I have 2 of them). So, it is possible to have it changed over, I don't know if it would be worth the hassle. As said earlier, some if the big shops (Airgas) might swap it for a co2 tank for you.

I had my my tank exchanged at a Plaxxon airgas supplier. I explained to them what I wanted to use it for and they had no problem swapping it.
