I had mine welded up for a 1.5" or 2" npt to 2.5" triclover for my element adapter.



Similar to the still adapter I bored and threaded a 1.5" triclover for a standard 1" element.

Another way to go might be to get a long 2" triclamp ferrule, solder on a copper disk, drill a hole in the disk, then solder a locknut over the hole.
