Cloning Ninkasi Oatis oatmeal stout
I have been looking around a bit and I haven't been able to find a whole lot on the subject of cloning this beer, I did find one recipe with a google search though.
12 lbs 4 oz pale two row
1 lb flaked oats
1 lb roasted barely 550L
1 lb crystal 60
1 lb crystal 30
1 lb chocolate
1.75 oz nugget at 60 minutes
I was thinking for the sake of simplicity I would drop it to 12 lbs of two row and 2 oz of nugget. I think I will need about 25-26 quarts of mash water, my mash tun will probably be very full with all those grains and water.
What would be a good yeast for this recipe, I would probably be using a wyeast pack for this one as well as some yeast nutrient.
