Flocculated yeast. It will look like little bubbly clumps if it is yeast. Mold generally has hairy looking spots.

I dont have definite answer, but I think it is yeast.
Dont do anything before you taste it, wait until bottling/kegging day to do so.

Def not co2. They have what looks like roots streaming down from them. And yeast rafts always look like big thick flake shapes that I've seen. Did you cook the pumpkin 1st? Might be mold from the uncooked pumpkin...

That looks like yeast to me. But I am looking at it on my cell phone. So kind of hard to tell. What's your s.g.? if your ready to package just rack from under it if your that worried. But like I said it looks like yeast to me.

i did not cook pumpkin, i took it from the can and added my spices and then steeped it in a muslin bag...

OG was 1.060 and Fg was 1.014

It is hard to tell from those pics, but chances are it is probably just bubbles/yeast. However, that second pic looks a little suspect, almost like there is a pellicle forming.

Are you going to keg or bottle? The reason I ask is that if you do end up having some kind of infection. You could potentially end up with bottle bombs. How long have you been at that F.G.?
