So last night I brewed a Citralicous IPA, here's the recipe and timings:

9.5 lbs 2-row (I rounded up to 10 lbs)
1 lb of crystal 40L
8 oz of

1oz of citra @ boil
1oz of citra @ 30
1oz of citra @ 55
1oz dry hopped in secondary

Mash @ 152
Sparge @ 170

OG of 1.060
FG of 1.013

Here's what happened:
Slatted with 153* water for 75 mins (supposed to be 60)
Sparred with 170*

Out of 8.5 gallons of water between mash and sparge, I collected 7 gal wasn't expecting it to be that efficient at getting wort out. So now I have to boil 7 gallons down to 5 gallons (and I do).

Boil started, added first bag of hops, then another at 40 mins because I had a feeling it was going to be a long boil. So my boil ends up being 120 mins, WAAAAY longer then I expected, I took the first bag out at 60 mins and the second about 20 mins and added the 3rd bag at 90ish minutes. I pull it out at the end of boil, chill the wort down to about 70* and aerate, sitting at an OG of 1.060, pitch yeast and at 5 gallons in fermentor. So here is my question: it calls for dry hopping in secondary, should I or will the excess time of boiling of hops and the addition into fermentor throw it over the top with bittering?

Dry hopping is for flavor. You don't have to worry about it getting more bitter.

The dry hops wont add any bitterness, just aroma. definitely do it!
