Very interesting read. This next years season for ordering bees I was contemplating starting a small hive to produce honey for myself. There does not seem to be many local apiaries here in my side of Oklahoma. I will have to look out for the Zombees.

Yeah, it's more of an issue that would indirectly affect many of us. Hopefully the scale of it doesn't ever get to the point of it being a noticeable problem when it comes to honey supplies, but it'll be something to look at and keep in mind in the mid-to-distant future.

Well the scale of declining bee populations is already an issue for everyone (an ignored one). Be it zombie bees or plain old bee killin', it seems to be happening and the consequences on a global ecological scale are kinda scary.
