Default Baltic porter yeast + 78 degrees

Perfect brewing experience and hour all my numbers. Put it into my fridge and set temps to 62. The range is, I believe, 58-65ish. Last night I had another equipment failure and it heated to 78.2 degrees!! I assume the 5gal was in there for 8 hours so not sure how warm it got before I switched on the fridge. Hopeless?

Bottle: vanilla kombucha, oaked puh-er kombucha, blueberry kombucha,

Primary: rose hip kombucha, oaked honey and oolong kombucha, hopped kombucha brewed with green tea infused with cab. grapes

Not hopeless, but not good.

Which yeast strain did you use? Did you use a starter? Is it fermenting?

I didn't use a starter this time--first time, ugh. I used the Wyeast 2112 California Lager with a (I just looked it up) temperature range of 58-68 F.
