Hey guys - I am going thorough all of my stored homebrew kegs (10+) and I've found that a lot of them have these white, slimy strings floating in them. They look great on the surface and taste no different, but when you look in a poured glass, it's pretty apparent there's some stuff floating in there.
Any idea what it could be?

It's an infection (lacto, I think?) called "rope."

That sounds right.

The interesting thing is it seems to be the worst for the first beer and almost nonpresent in 4th or 5th beer
