A buddy of mine just got back from Oregon and brought me about a pound of wild hops he picked on a friend's property. Have them in the freezer now. Not dried, except during transport in a paper bag.
I'm thinking of making a simple IPA, bittering with Columbus and late hops additions with the wild hops. I've been told that 5 oz of wet hops is approximately equal to 1 oz of dry. That is the only parameter I have so far. They smell good and I'll have to pick out the vines.
