Hm, sounds nice! Does it have a transfer case with lube separate from the MT and/or take hub oil? Brake fluid and PS fluid changeouts are oft neglected. Rear differential oil, oft neglected. Front diff too if not shared with the MT. How about the cooling system. Hopefully a 90's era domestic will be able compete reliability wise with a 90's Japanese vehicle.

Well I might need to replace the power steering reservoir, I haven't inspected it to tell if it is the hoses or the reservoir that leaks but it does not hold fluid. The rear diff has probably never been touched and I am unsure if the tranny and front diff are separate.

But the breaks are working great at the moment.

That sounds good, the brake fluid soaks up moisture over the years and eventually rots, pits, and rusts the system from the inside, especially in the bottoms or tops of the caliper pistons I have noticed.

The tranny and the diffs are separate. The transfer case will share oil if its an auto. A MT, I don't recall if they do. Change all your fluids and grease everything.

Thank you both, it seems like I still have some things to do before this is fully tuned up. Once I have some time to take some pictures I will post them up. It has definitely been a work truck its whole life but it really isn't too beat up.

I guess the original craigslist post was never taken down. Not the best pics but a few of them.
