Daddy needs a new... hop scale!

1. Weldless sight glass kit with heat shield for either a converted keg or pot. In addition to what is shown in the picture, the kit includes stick-on vinyl calibration numbers and a stainless eye bolt to secure the tube at the top. sight glass kits are the only design on the market that includes calibration numbers, thickwall tubing wall (.125” vs .063”), accommodation for the wall angle of converted kegs so the top of the tube does not angle away and optional heat shields to keep liquid from boiling in the tube.

2. The refractometer included in the giveaway is a dual scale Brix and Specific Gravity unit including a sampling pipette, calibration screw driver and soft storage case.

3. Hop Scale

The primary purpose of this scale is for accurately weighing out your hop additions but it works great for measuring brewing salts (gypsum for example) and smaller specialty grain additions like black patent and others with high impact. The 500 gram max (just over 16 ounces) has an accuracy of .1 grams, a tare function (zero out your weighing cup/tray), reads in either grams orounces, and can hold a 16oz Solo cup on the 3" weighing platform.

4. CDN DTQ450x Digital Thermometer

This thermometer has a list of great features that make it perfect for brewing. The bonus is that it is just as fast and accurate as thermocouple thermometers priced at 400% more.

  • 6-8 second response
  • 5" stem
  • Waterproof
  • Shtterproof
  • Data-Hold

5. Carboy Calibration Decals (2-pack). This is for those who are tired of reapplying the sharpie marker or masking tape lines to their glass carboys. The white vinyl we cut these from are rated for 7 years out on car windows so it will last a while.
