I store most of my kegs in a big kegerator in my garage. Sometimes I want to bring a keg to a friend's house or to a tailgate.

It frustrates me that my beer is perfectly clear in the kegerator, but when i move the keg it disturbs the sediment on the bottom of the keg, and my perfectly clear beer is cloudy for the event.

I know I am nitpicking here, but does anybody have a way to deal with this??

You could push your beer from a storage keg to a serving keg using a jumper and some CO2.

I'm buying a couple of those 2.5 gallon kegs and building one of those igloo cube portable kegorators for that very purpose.

Make an "Out to Out" jumper and transfer the beer to the keg you take to the party. As long as you don't disturb your source keg, you'll fill the new keg with clear beer.

I like to transfer at about 3 PSI - Too fast and it'll foam in the new keg.

Put some duct tape over the gauge - Or better yet - Replace the high pressure gauge with a plug - High pressure gauges are useless!
