Recipe:
5# Munton's Mild Ale Malt
1# Weyermann Munich Type I
.5# Crystal 120
.25# Special Roast
.25# Crystal 60
1 oz East Kent Goldings (5.0%) @ 60 mins
1 oz East Kent Goldings (5.0%) @ 10 mins
WLP023 Burton Ale Yeast
This is one of the best beers I have brewed so far. It is a modified version of Jamil's ordinary bitter from Brewing Classic Styles. I can drink this all day. And I have. Mmm, mmm! I have never really had a commercial example other than Boddington's, but I think this is infinitely better.
