Post what you are trying to achieve. Are you going to run 2 kettles - HLT and BOIL? Independently or back to back? I also need to know the power that you will have available (240V @ 30A? 50A? 60? 100A?) What about GFCI protection? (This one is critical.)

I have bunches of diagrams that I've drawn. Some are close but none fit -yet-.

Let me know.

The second process diagram on the first page shows the gist, but for the sake of clarity, I'm using the BK as the HLT, so only one vessel in my setup will be heated with an element. However, that vessel is 1.5bbl, so I need more than one element. From reading around, apparently it's doable with 2 5500k elements. Power is 240V 50A. Definitely want GFCI protection. Thanks! Let me know if I can clarify anything.

I thought my response to you was pretty clear, but I'll try again...

No, 1 kettle will serve as HLT and BOIL. It will use 2 5500w elements.

Welcome. I sure hope it fits your needs and your brewery plan. I had to draw that one from close to scratch.

I guess there is some benefit with me waking up at 4:30 in the morning...
