Our cat likes eating anything plastic and long ribbons. Just yesterday, he evidently ate about 2 feet of blue ribbon. What he didn't throw up, he crapped out in the litter box, except for 6 inches which got stuck to his butt on the way out. He then proceeded to run all around the house trying to get the poo ribbon off.
He also desperately wants to be in the room that you're in and will meow sadly by the door if he can't get in. This also leads to those moments when he gets himself stuck in rooms because he followed you in and you closed the door on the way out without realizing he was in there. An hour later, "Do you hear that? Where's that meowing coming from?"
Lol... One of the cats eats plastic too, bags and such. Grocery bags are a delicacy. My wife said it's because there's oils in the plastic they like. That makes sense. It's probably why rats will chew into your insulated electrical wiring.
