Hmm, I don't infusion mash so I'm not sure what to say here... can you export the recipe in the beersmith format and post it here so I can take a look at it?

Also i missed my mash temp by like 6*F again. Does Beersmith think I was gonna put the table sugar in the mash? only thing I could think of...

Ok sorry for the delay - for the mash issue of temp I see that your specific heat value was changed back to the .3 which it defaults to, when I changed the value back to .66 the numbers matched what your measured observation was.

To fix the batch sparge issue - go to the mash tab and click the check box next to your mash profile - uncheck the box where it says "Use equal batch sizes" and it will calculate back to a singe batch sparge.

Unchecking the "use equal batch sparges" did the trick. thanks

I must keep making changes to the specific heat, cause now it's at .2 and I don't recall changing it. Oh well, tomorrow is brew day, we'll see how it goes. I feel more confident about using Beersmith. I'll just have to double check the equipment profile numbers before I trust the strike temp.
