People keep bringing up my original post without seeing the follow up that there were people on here last year looking for a clone recipe, claimed to call ST and reported back that there was no pumpkin in the recipe. That is where I got this information. Since then the label of the beer has shown this information is wrong.

on the Southern Tier pumpking page it lists pumpkin right after the malts used. And right on the label in says "Ale brewed with pumpkin"

And the video above show the brewer adding pumpkin puree to the mash.

So yeah I would say that is enough proof that pumking has actual pumpkin in it.
And pumpking pie right in a tha( al a) face!!!!! Just spices, my ass my ass so my ass. Spiced winter shure,halloween/thanksgiveing pumpkin/ ah,Ill take pumpkin please. And pie with that too,as well thanks.

Crazy off topic question that just occured to me.... Has anyone ever used Starbucks Pumpkin Latte Syrup at bottling? I have a bottle of it, and I might need to see what kind of additives/preservatives are in it.....

A very similar thought crossed my mind as I was standing in the 'Bucks line yesterday. Could I use that in the boil or secondary and still get a similar flavor as I might if I used the spices? Call me lazy if you want. I call it efficient.
