Till kinda new to brewing. Cooked my wort just like my few other batches, added wyeast at perfect temp after aerating 3 days no foam no airlock activity gravity unchanged at all. added another package of wyeast 5 days still nothing same gravity. Both packages or wyeast good blew up nice like supposed to . what is my problem ? can anyone help? What's your recommendation?

Tell us a little more about the kit you used and the process. What is the (unchanged) gravity of the wort? Is there a foamy ring around the fermenter just above the wort?

What did you use to sanitize your fermenter and how much did you use?

You probably have a leak. The airlock is not the best measure of fermentation activity.

Even with absolutely no foam at least gravity can't lie right?

Just sounds like you didn't have a very vigorous ferment.

Gravity never takes a day off.

Are you fermenting in plastic, glass, or stainless? Can you see a yeast cake, if glass?
