Pass out the tinfoil hats and commemorative "aliens built the pryamids" t-shirts.

The fact that people *actually* believe this crap just goes to show how stupid people really are. So much for higher education and critical thinking. People have the right to believe whatever they want, but they shouldn't be able to blatantly spew lies without reprehension. (Ahem, FoxNews... CNBC).

I got through 3/4th of this 'documentary' before I couldn't stand it anymore. The guy pretty much gets all his facts wrong. If you are genuinely interested in learning about the origins of christianity, terrorism, and the economics of conflict, go read a book. This thing is just fantasy.

These will get you started.

The Historical Figure of Jesus. E.P Sanders

An Economic History of the United States: From 1607 to the Present. Ronald Seavoy.

9/11 Commission Report. (www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report.pdf)

The first two books are a bit heavy reading, but are two of the best accessible works on Jesus and US economics. Ignoring the conspiracy theories on the 9/11 report, it is a good place to start if you want to come up with your own opinion.

Also, came across this just now. Didn't read through it, but it seems someone spent a lot of time debunking this film.

Thanks. I wasnt being sarcastic. I enjoy reading and understanding all sides of view points especially religion and economics. Both sides are very heated.

I have to say that alot of the websites that i went on to debunk the movies had a very biased religious almost evangelical background. Or were using youtube videos of others debunking in what seems there childhood bedroom.

The irony is nearly suffocating.

You, sir, are comfortably deluded.

(I am however with you on Foxnews.)

Yeah, I probably should have worded that better when I wrote it at 2am.

However, the real irony here is that you, of all people, would call someone else deluded.

By the way, T&D v. Evil sucks!

Well at least that told me all that I needed to know!

DELUDED = "willfully ignoring evidence to the contrary of what you believe to be true"

I am not sure what is true or not, so hard to be deluded with an open mind.

Good luck Bierhaus15, ignorance is bliss, right?
