Default Bottling day! Am I the only one who enjoys it ?

Bottled my second batch today. T-Can & Bearcat wheatin beatdown from NB. Used 1L and a few 12oz to squeeze the last bit. 24 1L and 5 12oz. 4.5 oz of priming sugar for 5 gal using tasty brew calc. Having a Autumn ale HB to boot !
am i the only one who doesn't mind bottling ? I find it just as enjoyable as the rest of the process . I didnt take me all that long to "git er done".

I'm with you - I like the process too. I do both kegging and bottle conditioning.

Make that 3. I enjoy it more now that I've got it down cold. Not to mention, the bottle tree, vinator, etc that all make it go faster & easier.

I've been bottling since I started two years ago. I still really enjoy it. My wife and I seem to get into some pretty deep conversations while bottling for some reason. I think I'd like to get into kegging for the convenience, but I don't want to spend the money yet. Plus, I end up giving at least half of my batches away, so bottles make it easier.

I think the people that hate bottling are doing it wrong. I know I was having no fun with a bottling bucket and a wing capper.

I bottle about 48 bottles in an hour, after bottles are ready and the sugar solution has cooled.

I use the red baron wing capper at this point. It's fine, but I'd rather have the lever style capper. The bottle is kept more square with the capper bell I think. Might even prove to be faster.

The wing capper scares the hell out of me. I managed to break at least one bottle per batch. I was so afraid of getting sliced by the broken bottle.

The bench capper is faster and easier. I place the cap while filling the bottles, so crimping the caps takes like ten minutes.

I think using a bottle filler is faster and easier than the stupid bottling bucket. I took the spring out so I donít even have to push it down.

I use the dishwasher as a bottle tree, and bottle over it so thereís no mess.

I like bottling, but I've only done a couple of batches.
