Need a Refractometer and can get one from grainder where i have credit this seems to be one that would work. What do you guys think

I wouldnt spend that much on one. You could get one from here for a fraction of that price and its proven to work for home brewing.

seems awful expensive to me. I bought mine at LHBS in Mobile for a lot less. Is there some reason I am missing that makes it cost so much?

No, the max brix on that one is way too low. Check the one at my site. Even if you don't buy it from me, at least you'll see the specs that work.

Wow, not only is the wrong scale as Bobby says it's really pricey. Either buy Bobby's or search e-bay/amazon. You can get one for under $40.
