It's okay. I only make my diacetyl-bomb beers in an aluminum boil kettle.

I guess the bonus of being an alzheimers ridden brewer is that you'll constantly be brewing. It's like Groundhog Day with brewing

Uh huh. And I'll bet the Journal's editors and the researchers never thought of that. This is one of the most frequently employed glib dismissals of scientific work by the public. I'm not saying the results are definitive and this report isn't either. But to glibly dismiss it by the dull old saw "Correlation does not imply causation" suggests a fundamental suspicion of science in general.
