Default One of my assistant brewers is pretty handy with a camera

I've got a few buddies that hang out and drink beer on brew day. They also help with cleaning etc. One of them is a pretty talented photographer. Here are a few of his shots of yesterdays Oktoberfest brew.

Great pics! Although everytime I see a setup like this I"m reminded on just how "basic" my setup is. I then get jealous.

Is that a scale under your (presumably) mash tun?

Why yes it is. I use the scale to measure my strike water volume (more accurate than the sight glass on the HLT). It also helps during the sparge, I use it as a reference to match my flow rates.
